My teacher recommended this book to everyone is my class because we were on the subject of depression. And I used to cut. After reading this I felt so much better because I knew I wasn't alone.

I believe this book is very motovational. Honestly cutting is a severe mental addiction, probably more so than cigarettes, alcohol, or even drugs in my mind. I've personally abused all of the above and when it came down to it cutting was the hardest to stop, I could go days, weeks, at one point even months without it.. but everyday it was always in the back of my mind taunting me just to do I would try to fight back the urge but sometimes it was too strong. This book displays exactly what I was going through when I was trying to stop and encouraged me in such away that I knew if Callie could over come it then so could I. If you enjoyed this book i recommend reading Crosses by Shelley Stohr.

Umm...I don't know if I should read this book... but I want to just because I cut myself. Too bad my library doesn't have it and it would be really suspicious to other people if I read it (people know) People who cut themselves AREN'T gay by the way whoever wrote that... but it is hard to stop. I know.

I loved this book. I was/am a cutter an this shows that other side of us as not just people who are monsters and that we're a part of society. I also like how she refers to the councelor as "You" showing seperation from the patient.

I really enjoyed the entire book. It really sends out a strong message about what some teens are doing to themselves in order to cope with certain situations. It also gives adults a chance to see how big of a problem it is becomming. I could read this book 10x's over. McCormick has a gift and I really want to read a lot more of her books. <3

This book is really good. I usually hate books that are really more descriptive than talkative, but I found the flashbacks and flash-forwards to be very well used in the setting of a mildly mentally ill girl who finds friendship and what she needs most, self-help.
