Nine Years In The Saddle This is a true-story western about a man who was out of my life until he was 81-years-old, my father. The main focus of the book is West Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona during the Great Depression. From cow punching to mountain lion hunting to bootlegging during Prohibition this is a very entertaining story of how cowboys eked out a living in the last days of the Old West.
