"Meet Me Under the Ombu Tree is about Sofia Solanos who is raised on a ranch in Argentina - her mother dislikes her for her own alienation and instead shows her love for her sons much more. When she discovers Sofia's affair she exiles her from her family and her lover for many years until a tragic event calls Sofia back to her family, her childhood home and her lover."
