| Plot Summary of The Ladykiller |
"A tense and dramatic thriller in which Detective Inspector Kate Burrows is on the trail of a sadistic perverted murderer known as the Grantley Ripper. The Ripper is killing young women at random and then makes the mistake of raping and brutally murdering Mandy Kelly, the daughter of London gangster Patrick Kelly. He vows revenge and so a manhunt between police and mobsters begins, though the Ripper always seems one step ahead as his victims mount up . . . and to complicate matters, Patrick Kelly becomes romantically involved with DI Burrows and bribes her bosses into gathering evidence quicker to track down the Ripper.
