| Plot Summary of Early Autumn |
"Early Autumn, by Robert B. Parker, was a very well written book but lacked the suspense needed to make it a mystery. While the plot was very descriptive there was no murder or suspense to make it interesting. Paul Giacomin was kidnapped by his father in an act of revenge against his ex-wife. Spenser, hired by Mrs. Giacomin, gets the kid back but decides to take things into his own hands. This book is not a good one to read if you want to read a mystery but if you are looking for a story of a harmless kidnapping then this book is for you."
