Plot Summary of Desire
"After facing death head on, Lucian: the Earl of Wycliff, decides to marry in order to beget an heir. When he comes upon Brynn swimming in the ocean, he decides to marry her. Brynn, however, is reluctant to marry anyone due to a centuries-old curse that says the women in their family will be cursed with beauty and the men they fall in love with will die. The two must try to overcome their personal demons in order to find love with one another."
Jen Jen, Resident Scholar

"In this continuation of the "Notorious" series, the Earl of Wycliff, Lucien Tremayne decides it is time he marry & produce an heir when he meets Brynn Caldwell on a Cornish beach. She is convinced his attraction to her is because of an old Gypsy curse that makes women in her family irresistible to men...and then leads to the mans death. She agrees to marry him in order to help her impoverished family but is determined to not fall in love with him. When he begins catching her in lies, he begins to think she may be involved in some kind of treason, along with her brother. "
