| Plot Summary of The Dreyfus Affair: A Love Story |
"Randy Dreyfus is the archetypal all-American: blond hair, blue eyes, married with kids, and one of the best shortstops playing in the major leagues. Randy also has a slight problem - he's falling in love with his second baseman, D. J. The Dreyfus Affair details the triumphs and trevails as Randy and D. J. hook up, get outed, and get ousted in this funny and sweet little novel. (It isn't necessary to know about Alfred Dreyfus and Emile Zola, though that does provide a nice extra helping of humor.)"
