| Plot Summary of Endymion |
"Endymion is told by Raul Endymion, looking back from a future prison/death sentence. He tells of his adventures crossing many worlds with Aenea, an 11 year old girl who is to become humankind's 'messiah' and A. Bettik, an Android first mentioned in Hyperion. They are fleeing attempts to capture Aenea by the new Christian Church, whose members accept the new cruciform - and virtual physical immortality. "
