"Sneaking into her childhood sweetheart's home to gain his favor and make him love her again, Lady Laura goes by the name of Jane, and sucessfully wills her childhood love Alex into her arms. It's only after a hasty departure and a cruel secret that Laura begins to wonder if her life is worth living.
