Plot Summary of Icefire
"A nuclear missile explodes in the air, blacking out all communications and sattelites over Antartica. Precisely timed to explode afterwards, several more under ground bombs explode at once to make the Ross Ice Shelf collaspe into the Antartic Sea, causing it to create a soliton, an extremely deadly wave that never stops growing, and never crashes. And no one knows it's coming..."
