"A white trash woman's daughter is kidnapped, and the woman's brother and his wife hire Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro to help the police try to find her. They look at every possibility and are stumped, until one of the policeman gets drunk one night with Patrick and says a little too much, revealing that he knows who actually has the child, and why they have her."
