| Plot Summary of Whisper Upon the Water |
"Apacheria, 1880--Tanayia is alone in the world. Her village destroyed, her people murdered and she is taken hostage. A daring escape saves her life, but she discovers her ordeal is only beginning. Forced to live in a government boarding school. Tay is stripped of her identity. The headmistress is bent on destroying Tay, but Jacob Five-Wounds stands in her way. Jacob want Tay to run away with him, but diptheria strikes the school Tay must make a choice, a choice which may cost her both Jabcob and his love!
