"After her sterotypically naive inventor father is taken advantage of, Julie, a teacher with a flair for inventing, is determined to be a successful inventor, but the memory of her dad's experience causes her to distrust the one consultant who can help her. When she falls in love with him, that lack of trust is a major stumbling block. Overcoming that and the guilt she lays on herself over the death of her fiance will take all of Mark's love and understanding. But he has his own issues to overcome before they can be happy."
