| Plot Summary of Love Thy Enemy |

"When nobleman Magnus's son is killed in a collison with drunken Oddvar, Magnus vows to kill him to avenge his loss. Oddvar's horrified daughter, Tora, offers herself in her father's place: she will bear widower Magnus a son if he will spare her father's life. Hurting, grieving and hating, the two begin married life as enemies, even while they physically desire each other. Time together leads to understanding and budding love, while war and political intrigue threaten to tear the new lovers from each others' arms. Will love prevail?"
