| Plot Summary of Deadly Games |
"DEADLY GAMES was published in 1983. We are in the Soviet Union of 1979, under Brezhnev era. One of the best journalists of the country is missing, he has been kidnapped at Moscow main railway station by three men disguised as doctors. The problem lies in the fact that this journalist has been chosen by Leonid Brezhnev to be part of the russian delegation at the world summit Jimmy Carter-Leonid Brezhnev that will take place in a few days. A young prosecutor is charged to find Bielkine - the journalist - and to bring him to Brezhnev before the summit. He will have to travel to Azerbaïdjan in order to discover what lies behind this mystery.
A very interesting trip through the pre-Gorbachev russian administration. Recommended."
