| Plot Summary of Battle Born |
"The South Korean government has engineered a revolt in North Korea, and the fruits of their long-planned operation are soon evident: Thought they are virtually reunited overnight, the new United Republic of Korea is now the world's newest owner of weapons of mass destruction, and they want the Americans out. Moreover, militant elements within the new uniited government want to use those weapons against the Chinese, who, fearing the new country's acquisition, invade. With virtually no anti-ballistic missile technology, Korea is soon devastated by an attack. Now the Koreans want revenge. General Patrick McClanahan and Jon Masters have developed an air-deployable ABM system that is still in the experimental stage, yet it may be the only thing standing between peace and a nuclear war...If McClanahan can keep the group of pilots he has chosen to use the system from fighting each other first.."
