| Plot Summary of The Sword of Bedwyr - Crimson Shadow 1 |
"A pretty good fantasy book about a young nobleman named Luthien Bedwyr who takes revenge upon a cyclopian warrior who kills his best friend, causing him to learn of how the people of Avon oppress his homeland of Eriador. He then goes on the road so his family will not suffer for his action, and befriends a halfling bandit. They have a series of adventures against the Avonese lords, and the two eventually come to the city of Montfort. Luthien falls in love with the local Duke's slave girl, and he stays, eventually creating a heroic myth around himself, and leading to a general rebellion against the Avonese. Some originality in the plot and ideas, and fairly good."
