| Plot Summary of With Honour in Battle |
"At the end of 1944, Kruger, a burnt-out u-boat commander, is assigned to an advanced boat of remarkable potential. At sea, he must contend with a triumphant enemy and a former British captive now commanding a killer group charged with hunting him down. On land, his family is gone, and his chances of romance seem doomed by events beyong his control. He must also cope with his own realisation of the futility of his mission, and the knowledge that, patriotic as he is, he is also fighting for a government he despises."
J.T. McDaniel, Resident Scholar
