"As the author, I wanted to tell the story about men in ground combat. In KRIEGSPIEL (a military technothriller) a US by-the-book career soldier and a break-all-the-rules Green Beret lead American forces in a race to stop a new Nazi 4th Reich from coming to power. There are hi-tech armored combat, hand to hand infantry battles, and the main characters' struggles to come to terms with their own limitations. "
