Plot Summary of Frostflower and Thorn
"Frostflower is a powerful sorceress, desperate to have a child against all the edicts of her God. Thorn is a swordswoman who has accidentally gotten herself pregnant. They are both being hunted by the farmer-priests, and both outcasted from society. "Frostflower and Thorn", by Phyllis Ann Karr, is an excellent adventure, both physically and emotionally. The two women work to survive with each other, against all odds."
Pamela Piarowski, Resident Scholar
