Somebody(s) killed retired pharmaceutical researcher Tommy Reynolds. Or did they? He may have been dead even before he was shot. However, Gene Kerrigan kills one of Tommy's alleged killers and that is followed by a string of homicides that never ends until the end and the fifteen Irish authors have their shot at the plot.
YEATS IS DEAD: A MYSTERY BY 15 IRISH WRITERS is a series of vignettes tied together into a novel through a curvilinear string of murders. The prime “plot” often loses itself with several sidebar homicides, but the tales are usually humorous and entertaining when the reader treats the book more like an anthology rather than a novel. Overall, this is an amusing mystery in which each contributor has done a fine job, but invariably meandered from the main theme. This work is fun to read and raises money for Amnesty.
