Plot Summary of Castle Roogna - Xanth 3
"12-year old Magician Dor goes on a quest for an elixer to restore a zombie to life, for his friend and caretaker, Millie the (ex-)ghost. The problem is that the only way to obtain it is to travel 800 years into the past! He is joined on his quest by Jumper, a (now man-sized) spider that accidentally got caught up in Dor's travel spell, and a young woman of the time, named Millie..."
