Plot Summary of The Dreaming
"It is the year 1871 and young Englishwoman, Joanna Drury sets sail for Australia, drawn by something that haunted her mother's life and will not let her rest until she finds out what it is.

Falling in love was not part of her plan, and when it happens, happiness is short lived. Joanna must find out about what happened when her grandparents, missionaries, spent some time in the outback with the Aboriginal people before she can put her mother's ghost to rest and lead her own life."

Annette Gisby, Resident Scholar
