| Plot Summary of Deadman Switch |
"The only way to travel to Solitaire and it's heavy-metal rich moons is through the "cloud" that surrounds the system, which would take years if not for the Deadman Switch which uses condemned criminals called "zombies" for entry and exit out of the system. Gilead Raca Benedar, a member of the Watchers, discovers that the outboud "zombie" may be innocent of the crime that she was condemned for and tries to save her from being the next sacrifice to the Deadman Switch. Along the way he discovers not only the extent that man will go for greed but unravels the mystery of the Deadman Switch. "
