"This is the story of The Rowan, a stong Talent who became the ward of Altair when her family is killed in an accident. This story narrates her growth from gaining her own Tower to falling in love and also tells of the struggle to save man kind from an alien invasion"
Andrea , Resident Scholar

"The Rowan is orphaned at a very young age, and no one, not even her knows what her real name is or who her parents were. Because she is a powerful telepath and telekinetic, she is trained to be a Prime, so that she can one day shuttle people and cargo from one planet or moon to another. The strength of her abilities causes the Rowan to feel lonely, separate from other people. When she is telepathically contacted by a man on a far away colony, she sees an end to her loneliness. However, first she and the other telepaths must prevent a space ship full of insect-like aliens from destroying the human race."
Melissa Cookson, Resident Scholar
|
"Orphaned as a child, The Rowan Child is a strong telepath whose cries could be heard far away. She grows up surrounded by those who will help and hinder her evolving into one of the most powerful of her kind - a T1."
Rachael, Resident Scholar
|
"The Rowan loses her family in an accident when she's a small child, which awakens her amazingly strong telepathic and telekinetic powers. She is raised in the Tower by a group of telepaths, and eventually becomes a Prime--a strong telekinetic who can use electricity to instantaneously transport heavy loads across the galaxy.
She has some trouble going into space, because one of her teachers was afraid of it, but she overcomes this and learns to transport herself over immense distances. She mentally encounters a distant alien presence, which pretends to be in love with her. Escaping this threat, she makes mental contact and falls in love with another Prime, Jeff Raven. She is the leader of the telepathic crew in her own Tower on a distant planet. Settings include Callisto, Earth, and Alpha Centauri."
