| Plot Summary of Anne Frank: the diary of a young girl |
"There are a few different editions of the Anne Frank diary, and I recommend the latest and more full 'definitive edition'. Even though some - utterly incredibly - have tried to deny that the Holocaust of WWII took place, this book, far better than the formal histories, will tell the truth for posterity. The young teenager, Anne Frank, goes into hiding in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, and keeps her famous diary from June 1942 to August 1944. The combination of her growing maturity, insight, perception, objectivity, and simple writing ability are exceptional in such a young girl, as she comments on the personalities and the situation around her. Her express wish was to become a famous writer or journalist, she died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, not knowing how wonderfully her wish would be fulfilled."

"Annelis Marie Frank or known Anne Frank was a normal Jewish girl born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany.
In 1933 her family moved to the Netherlands. They hid in the Amsterdam office of her father's business. In this room Anne wrote what happened to her in a diary for two years. After two years of hiding from the world they were arrested."

"Anne Frank feels lonely and out of place, like her family does not love her, these feelings intensify when she and her family are forced to go into hiding, so they don't end up in a concentration camp during the holocaust. Being hidden in a secret annex serves both to pull the family apart, and eventually draw them closer together. For two years they were locked up in the secret annex, for two years they were safe, but they were found and eventually killed, all but Otto Frank. The journal stops a matter of days before they are discovered."

"Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl consists of diary entries written by a Jewish teenager named Anne Frank. Anne Frank is comfortably living with her mother, father, and sister in Amsterdam when the Nazis start taking Jews to concentration camps. The Frank family is forced to flee from their home and live in the building where Anne's father worked with another Jewish family by the name of Van Daan and an old dentist named Dussel. The eight Jews hide in these quarters, called the "Secret Annexe", for two years. In her diary, Anne Frank encounters the difficulties of becoming an adult.
