Plot Summary of Behind The Smile
"What causes a man to go wild and attack total innnocents and strangers in a school? How do the victims, children, teachers, and those around them, come to terms with the trauma and aftermath? When a man entered the children's junior school in Wolverhampton, UK and set about them with a machete, Lisa Potts had only her bravery and reactions to defend her much loved little children. She was awarded Britain's second highest civilian award, the George Medal, for the life-saving actions. She herself took horrifying injuries, but her story is one of coming to terms with the attack itself, and the stress of unlooked for fame."
Michael JR Jose, Resident Scholar
