"This is the first of two book sequel to the Grand Admiral Thrawn trilogy. The Empire, in a much smaller form, is back and trying to stir up trouble in the New Republic. People are angry about what the Bothans may or may not have done 20 years ago, and the Empire is fanning the flames of resentment to start a civil war. Meanwhile Luke and friends are trying to get everyone to make nice."
