"Yasmine Talbot is a programmer at Virtually Active Inc., a sex software company in San Francisco. Although Yasmine is usually fixated on bad boys, she can't seem to fight her attraction to the good looking, All American new employee, Kyle Kramer. For years Yasmine has put a shield on her heart after having gone through a traumatic adolescent experience. As a 16 year old Yasmine got caught up in a computer hacking scandal that left her sentenced to juvenile detention after a major trial. Since that time Yasmine has lived her life quietly and without drama, despite the fact that a part of her yearns to break free from the shackles of respectability. When her hunky co-worker asks her on a date, Yasmine agrees to attend the office Christmas party with Kyle. What Yasmine doesn't know is that Kyle Kramer is actually Alex DiCarlo, the FBI investigator who testified against her nine years ago in her trial. Now, Alex has deliberately placed himself in Yasmine's life in order to unravel certain mysteries surrounding her case. Alex has been haunted by the fact that Yasmine might have provided negative information about him to the Feds in an attempt to harm his career. Now, Alex finds himself getting closer and closer to Yasmine as they forge a relationship and steam up the sheets together. Just as Yasmine begins to fall in love with Alex/Kyle and let her guard down, Alex comes clean with his despicable charade. "
