| Plot Summary of The Audacity of Hope |
"The Audacity of Hope is an amazing and inspiring story told by current US senator Barack Obama. The book talks in small part about his background and family upbringing. The stories of his life are used to explain his view on American values, family, government, war and foreign policy. His American mother and grandparents played a strong role in his life and views on the world. His wife and children play a strong role in his life but so does his political drive and ambition.
His rise from a law career to a US senator was remarkable and his attitudes on American ideals and values that have been lost through history are well explained. His views on politics, jobs in America, minorities, immigration and health care are explained. The worldwide information given on countries like Indonesia is informative and well written. There is also important information and personal stories of experiences in Iraq and Russia and the Ukraine."
