| Plot Summary of A Kiss to Dream On |
"Arliss Mallard was pregnant. She thought she would marry her fiancé Slick Waynick and they would live happily ever after. But her fiancé was a man who married for personal gain to a woman who wouldn't mind his other women. She found that out on their wedding day while Slick skipped town.
Scared and upset, she wished only to be alone. Until nice guy Gideon Forbes offered to marry her in Slick's stead.
Gidean had always loved Arliss. But she had eyes only for the town's bad boy. Now, seeing her in trouble and finding out she was pregnant, he was angry. He also saw a chance to let her know he loved her. Shocking everyone with the groom change, they wed that very day.
Now they have to learn to live with their newly married status and grow to love equally. As time progressed, Arliss started to see Gidean as more than just the man who always watched out for her. Now, as he was her husband, she saw the man inside and began to care for him. And that was when Slick, with his impeccable timing, came back.
