Plot Summary of The Waiting Game
"This one was made into an original Harlequin movie on The Movie Channel!

Sara Fraser goes for visit to her uncle Lowell Kincaid. Uncle Lowell however seems to be missing. Knowing his secretive background, as an ex-government agent, she begins to worry. Her uncle once told her that if anything ever happened to him she was to go to Adrian Saville.

Adrian has just sold his first thriller novel called the Phantom. It is all about missing gold and documents hidden during the Vietnam War and the agent that was sent in to fetch them. Lowell had given him the idea during one of his wild stories from when he was an agent. Adrian knows Lowell really well and is not at all concerned when Sara shows up telling him that Lowell is missing. Even after they visit Lowell's cabin and find that is had been tore apart, Adrian is not too concerned. Uncle Lowell had left a message on his answering machine for them and instructed Adrian to look after Sara.

She has a vivid imagination, and imagines a lot of different things that have happened to Uncle Lowell.

Sara deals with it all well until she finds out that Uncle Lowell "gave" her to Adrian as a "present" for finishing his novel! Then she finds the sketch of a wolf and knows that Lowell is REALLY in deep trouble. Seems that the renegade agent, code-named "Wolf" was in the area. Lowell had told her a few things about this agent. A real loose cannon! Then someone tries to kidnap Sara several times in order to get to her Uncle. Adrian will now have to try and save both of them."
