Plot Summary of The Prince Kidnaps a Bride
"    Princess Sorcha is a "lost" princess. She is the Crown Princess of her country of Beaumontagne who has been sent to live in a Scottish convent to hide her from assassins who wish to rule her country as well as that of her bethrothed Prince Rainger of Richarte, only Sorcha believes that Rainger has been killed by the assassins. As a threat encroaches on her the convent, she believes it is time to leave the convent and return home to take throne.
   Prince Rainger had been had not been killed as everyone believes, but was actually taken prisoner and left in dungeon for eight years. After years of solitude and beatings, he finally manages to escape, making his way to Beaumontagne and making a pact with Queen Claudia that if he brings her grandddaughters home safely and marry one of them, then she will lend her army to him so he can take back his throne in Richarte.
   Finding the first two princess happily married, Rainger manages to locate Sorcha at the convent, but believing she will not come willingly home, takes on a disguise of a simple fisherman, Arnou, who vows to see her back to her homeland safely. Sorcha, who is at first irritated by Arnou as they make their journey, starts to find herself attracted to his manly form and noble actions. Rainger decides not to reveal his identity to Sorcha until he convinces her to wed him, only then does he shed his disguise. When Sorcha recognizes him as her bethrothed, she is angered at him for making a fool of her, especially after had declared her love to him.
   As the return home and resume their royal duties, Sorcha is still deeply angered at Rainger's deception and lack of declaration of love for her. When Rainger's suffering during his imprisionment is explained to her, she realizes his difficulty in espressing his emotions. The couple must clear out misunderstandings and fight the evil ursurper of Richarte before they can happily rule their Kingdoms as man and wife."
