Plot Summary of Tall Cool One
"Anna Percy is a gorgeous high school senior living in posh Beverly Hills, California. Anna hangs out with a jet set crowd and has recently transplanted from the East Coast to California. After the divorce many years ago of her parents, Jonathan and Jane, Anna and her older sister Susan lived with their mother in Manhattan while her father lived in L.A. When Susan is released from an alcohol and drug treatment center, Jane Percy flies in from Italy in order to present a united front with Anna and her ex-husband. Anna is shocked at the bonding that is occurring before her very eyes between her parents, who endured a bitter divorce. When Susan goes missing en route to California, the angst of the situation brings Anna's divorced parents even closer together. Rather than reunite with her divorced parents Susan has opted to check herself into a yoga center for self improvement. Anna finds herself pondering the meaning of casual sex as she finds everyone around her jumping in and out of bed. Anna herself is relatively inexperienced and has only been in love once, with her ex-boyfriend Ben, a student at Princeton. Although Anna senses that her good friend Danny has the hots for her, she has no interest in casual sex with him. Anna begins to wonder if something is wrong with her as her friend/enemy, the gorgeous Cammie Sheppard, starts hooking up with Anna's ex, Adam. Although Anna gave Adam the heave ho, she is experiencing small pangs of jealousy as Cammie starts bragging about how hot their relationship is and how much in love they are. In order to break away from the madness, Anna decides to take her father up on an invitation to spend a week at a new resort in Las Casitas, Mexico. Unbeknownst to anyone, Anna has a secret agenda: to have a casual affair in Mexico beyond the prying eyes of her friends and family. When Anna's good friend Samantha unexpectedly shows up at the resort all bets are off as they girls make their week in Mexico a wild time to remember. "
