Plot Summary of French Quarter
"When Celina Payne's boss and mentor, Errol Petrie, is murdered she has no one to turn to but Jack Charbonnet, whom she dislikes. Jack thinks Celina is a a spoiled beauty queen who was out to seduce his friend for money, and Celina thinks Jack is cold and mercenary. After Errol is killed they spend some time together and find out that they were both wrong in their assessments of each other.
Jack soon learns that Celina is pregnant, and he is afraid that she will name Errol as the father, since she adamently refuses to name the real father, and will thereby drag Errol's name and reputation through the mud. His solution is to marry her himself, giving Celina and her baby protection, and his providing a mother for his own daughter.
It soon becomes apparent that someone tied to Errol's death is coming after Celina. Jack also learns that Celina is pregnant as a result of being raped by a prominent politition who has an unhealthy obsession with her. To top it all off, Jack also has to protect Celina and his family from his own past mob connections. As things become more complicated for Jack and Celina they find themselves falling in love. Can they uncover the truth about Errol's death before it is too late for themselves and their new family?"
