"Sabrina Cameron has been pampered all her life. She isn't spoiled but hasn't been denied anything either. She is the daughter of the Cheftain of Clan Cameron. When she is still a little girl of 6 a young boy will enter her life and change it forever.
Morgan MacDonnel is the heir to the cheftain of clan MacDonnel, a group of thieves and ruffians, almost extinct. His father has sent him to Cameron Glen to learn from one of Scotland's most powerful lords. For 5 summers Morgan lives at Cameron Glen terrorizing the little Sabrina afraid of what her devotion to him could mean.
Dougal Cameron invites Angus MacDonnell and his kin to Cameron Glen for a truce. During the feast Angus is murdered. As it happened at him home Dougal Cameron gives Morgan several hundred heads of cattle, sheep, chickens, the family wedding ring and his daughter, Sabrina in marriage.
Morgan and Sabrina travel to his castle in the highlands and she sets about to win the hearts of his clansmen. A few weeks later Sabrina is in an accident and crippled, possibly for life. She begs her father to take her home. In self pity she becomes an overbearing shrew and her parents send for Morgan to help her back to life. Morgan does their dirty work for them knowing that she may very well turn her back on him, if she hasn't already. His persistence and her love for him help them overcome the odds and the threats to their lives in a wonderful love story. "
