| Plot Summary of A Home On the Other Side |
"Lendon, Illinois is a town full of broken dreams; but through the eyes of Carter Roberts, an orphaned runaway, Lendon is paradise. After years of living on the streets and in abusive foster homes, Carter has finally come to a town full of people struggling like him that fight to help one another survive and allow him to become a part of their lives.
He finds a place to call home with Eric and Ryan, two brothers who are trying to rebuild their family after losing their parents and youngest brother in a deadly fire. And he befriends Pedro and Jay, a pair of best friends that are taking matters into their own hands to protect Jay when his uncle's alocoholism grows out of control. But when tragedy strikes and Social Services find Carter, he worries that the home he has wanted for so long may be taken away from him forever."
