Plot Summary of Prince Caspian - Chronicles of Narnia 4
"Probably best read as the second in the classic Narnia series, Caspian, the young prince, calls on the heroes of old - as High King Peter, King Edmund, and queens Lucy and Susan are to him. Narnia is once more held by a cruel dictator, the King Miraz. He would like to kill Caspian, but he escapes and calls on the old powers and old creatures of Narnia to come out of hiding and fight for freedom.

He must succeed in calling the old kings and queens from Earth back into Narnia - but once they are there, how can they find who called them? How can they succeed against the superior forces of Miraz? This book is the simplest of the Narnia series, but still entertaining."

Michael JR Jose, Resident Scholar

"Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are on a train station when they find themselves drawn back to the land of Narnia that they had ruled as Kings and Queens previously. But the Narnia now is one very different from the one they left. Another tyrant is ruling and the dwarves, animals and trees have all been banished and a state of civil war has been declared. Young Prince Caspian is desperately trying to regain the throne and bring Narnia back to its former glory from days of old. The four siblings must help him in his quest to make this a reality but get some guiding advice from their old friend Aslan the Lion."
