| Plot Summary of Escape to Love |
"After witnessing the brutal murder of her boss in Philadelphia, Angela Baring is forced to go into protective custody in order to elude the clutches of professional hitman, Lester Ford. Angela is immediately taken under the wing of gorgeous policeman, Trent Stewart. When Trent discovers that Angela's apartment has been breached, he realizes that the beautiful young witness will never be safe until Lester Ford is sent away. In order to immediately protect Angela, Trent spirits her away to his familys' cabin on the shores of Maryland. Angela and Trent spend long days and nights together, both of them drawn towards the other in a strong sexual attraction. Although both of them are tempted, Trent realizes that he has a duty to uphold and that he cannot sacrifice his professional principles, despite his desire for Angela. In order to fully protect Angela from a killer's wrath, she is provided the option of moving to Chicago and going into the witness protection program. Although Angela hates to give up her identity, she realizes that the stakes are high and she must move forward with her life. It is now two years later and Angela has assumed a new identity as Jane Johnson. Angela/Jane still dreams about Trent Stewart and wishes that they could have established a relationship during the time he was guarding her. When Angela/Jane is hit by a car while rescuing a small child she ends up featured on the news. When Trent sees on his news channel the story about Jane Johnson he instantly recognizes her as his former witness, Angela. Trent has never gotten over Angela and he is determined to track her down and explore a relationship with her. Problem is, a dangerous enemy has also seen Angela featured on the news and is well aware of her location and new identity. As Trent travels to Chicago to woo the woman he loves he is forced to once again protect her life from a dangerous enemy."
