| Plot Summary of Tonight and Always |
"Kasey Wyatt accepts a job working for wealthy and reclusive writer Jordan Taylor. As an anthropologist with specialty on American Indian culture, she gives references and edits Jordan's latest work. Staying in Jordan's mansion, she feels bored and idle because of the many restrictions posed by Jordan's mother However with her vibrant nature, she sets out to explore the mansion's surroundings, making fun activities for everyone which alarms the conservative household people and practically bends all the rules of the house. She also meets Jordan's niece, Allison, a shy but uptight and serious girl as a result Jordan's strict mother breeding. She has decided to change Allison's childhood into something fun by inviting her to go shopping, experimenting with makeup, playing sports, and telling her life adventures.
Jordan can't believe he has an employee with the good looks and figure of Kasey Wyatt. He doesn't get close to her at first but working together, he feels attracted to her. He is constantly surprise with Kasey's outlook in life and it has become infectious that he joins in her fun. He slowly becomes alive again after a long time ever since his brother's death. He learns to relax and loosen up the heavy burden and responsibilities thrown at him when his brother died. Kasey comes out strong when she spells out the attraction between them but when Jordan sets out to seduce her, Kasey becomes afraid fearing of becoming vulnerable. But when she sees Jordan is sincere and might even love her, she agrees to a more intimate relationship.
But Jordan's mother heavily disapproves of Kasey especially with her unconventional ways. She antagonizes each of Kasey's effort in the house particularly when it concerns her son and granddaughter. When she discovers the extent of her son's feelings for Kasey, she blackmails Kasey to leave Jordan. She tells her that she won't take Alison from Jordan in a custody suit in exchange that Kasey leaves the mansion and don't return back. Kasey loves Jordan and Alison very much. She has had first-hand experience of being a victim of a custody suit when both sides of her parents run a legal battle to win her. She knows that Jordan will be devastated when Alison will be turned over to his mother for guardianship. So she leaves Jordan and Alison. She stays at her grandfather where she finds herself unexpectedly pregnant with Jordan's child. Although he's hurting and furious when she left, he still loves Kasey and with Alison's encouragement and prompting, they chase after her.
