Plot Summary of The Bobby Gold Stories
" Bobby Gold is apprehended with a rental car containing five kilos of cocaine, then arrested, convicted, and serves out an eight-year prison sentence. While incarcerated Gold spends his time learning anatomy, pressure points, and the martial arts, all the while bulking-up his tall but skinny frame to a lean and muscular physique. He learns to be a tough guy, so that by the time he is released he has become one extremely bad dude. Now Gold is working in New York City for his boss, the diminutive Eddie Fish, as head of NiteKlub security. When he isn't shaking down poor saps by breaking their bones when they fall delinquent on their loan payments, he frequents NiteKlub's restaurant.

He meets sexy Nikki, the sauté chef from the bustling kitchen of the club. The attraction is instant, mutual, and sexually charged. Despite getting off to a shaky start they very quickly they become enthusiastic lovers. Several months pass before Gold learns from a local cop that Eddie is out of favor with the big bosses. Also he discovers that he was framed by Eddie for the cocaine bust and has him to blame for the miserable way his life has turned out. Meanwhile Nikki, in order to make a break from her unhappy lifestyle, has mistakenly agreed to be an accomplice along with Lenny, another kitchen chef, in a poorly planned theft of the cash stored in the club's wall safe. Way too much money is in the safe and Nikki knows that means big trouble. Lenny takes off with most of the cash while Nikki and Gold hit the road to avoid the law and the mob goons who will soon be on their tails. Fleeing to Provincetown they think they may be safe for a while before the heat catches up with them."
