Plot Summary of Sweetwater Seduction
"Eden Devlin is a 29 year old spinster schoolteacher living in Sweetwater, Wyoming. Orphaned at 11, Eden has led a rough life during which she wandered from town to town, never staying in one place too long. When Eden arrives in Sweetwater she realizes that she has found a place to call home. Although Eden loves life in Sweetwater, she has been troubled lately by the violent feud between the nesters and the ranchers in the community. Both parties have accused the other of sabotage, theft and random attacks. When two young lovers (one the son of a rancher and the other the daughter of a nester) are forbidden to see each other due to their parents' feud, Eden realizes that she must try to mediate the feud. Similary, a group of ranchers have called in a gun for hire named Burke Kerrigan in the hopes that he will investigate the incidents in Sweetwater and resolve the feud once and for all. Part of Burke's assignment is to keep Eden out of the feud by any means necessary. Once Burke lays eyes on the beautiful but prim teacher he decides that he will seduce Miss Devlin in order to keep her out of the nester/rancher feud. Although Eden has always longed for hearth and a family of her own, she has hidden herself behind the facade of a simple schoolteacher. It is Burke who sees through her facade and recognizes her as a passionate and spirited beauty. Although Eden quickly loves Burke she realizes that he has no interest in settling down with her. Although Burke's interest in Eden began as a paid gig he realizes that he cannot live without the beautiful spinster. But will Eden still love Burke when she learns that he was hired to seduce her?"
