"Stella De La Croix is a 38 year old, half English/half French single mother raising a precocious toddler named Honey. After a short-lived relationship with her ex, artist Dominic, Stella is now looking for a little romance and sex in her life. It has been over a year since sh'es had sex and she is wondering if it will ever happen again. Frank Keane, a talented artist who shares Stella's house with her, is engaged in a love/hate relationship with Stella. Although Stella and Frank are good friends, everyone assumes that there is something romantic between them. Stella vows to never become involved with playboy Frnk. After all, Stella hates redheaded men and she has no respect for Frank being a deadbeat dad to his daughter. To make matters worse, Frank is constantly bringing home women and noisily bedding them so that Stella can hear every grunt and moan. As Stella enters the dating world she meets a kooky plastic surgeon, a dj called MC Yungsta and a married neighbor with adultery on his mind. Stella is also forced to contend with her two exes, Rupert and Dominic, and their significant others. Stella discovers that when her life is in turmoil it is Frank that she turns to for comfort and advice. When in a rash moment Stella fixes up her friend Louisa with Frank, she finds herself becoming jealous of the twosome and realizes that she wants Frank for herself. When Frank and Stella wind up in bed together one night, Stella begins to realize that a love connection may have been under her nose the entire time. Will Stella's pride allow her to admit that Frank is her soulmate?"
