Plot Summary of The Chase Is On
"Single and beautiful Jessica Claiborne has newly arrived in Atlanta as the owner of a new bakery. Jessica has come to Atlanta with an agenda - she is determined to right a wrong from her grandfather's past and clear his tarnished name. Years ago, Jessica's grandfather, Carlton Graham, had a business and personal relationship with Scott Westmoreland. When Carlton's family recipe was given to a rival, Carlton Graham was branded a thief and a traitor by Westmoreland. The Graham/Westmoreland feud is legendary in Atlanta. Jessica is determined to prove that her grandfather was innocent of all accusations against him. When Jessica meets the sexy owner of a neighboring restaurant, Chase's Place, she is immediately attracted to the handsome restauranteur. When Jessica discovers that Chase's last name is Westmoreland she realizes that she should avoid Chase at all costs. After all, Jessica considers all Westmorelands as enemies after they way they treated her grandfather. And there's no doubt in Jessica's mind that Chase would be appalled to find out she is a member of the Graham family. Chase, who has no idea that Jessica is a Graham, is dangerously attracted to the dazzling beauty and vows to make her his woman. Ever since Chase was dumped by a woman in his past he has been gun shy of committment and marriage. Suddenly, Jessica is making him rethink all of his priorities. As Jessica begins to dig into the past in order to clear her grandfather's name, her true identity stands between her happy ending with Chase."
