Plot Summary of Seducing Mr. Right
"Catherine Harris has loved Luke Van Buren all her life. And she is tired being seen as a stepsister by Luke and wants to be seen as a woman. She arrives in Luke's apartment pretending to ask Luke to find her a husband. She stays in his apartment driving Luke crazy with her skimpy dresses, dates with other men, and all things female. However Luke is so stubborn and honorable that he can't see she is actually seducing him.
Luke Van Buren has made a vow to protect Catherine Harris from any hurt. Although they share no blood, he assigns himself as the big stepbrother when Catherine moves in his apartment. He finds Catherine dates, teaches her the fine art of kissing and goes with her shopping. However honorable his deeds are, he can't help feel jealous when he sees her flirting and dating with other men. When Catherine suddenly drops the announcement that she has finally found her Mr. Right, Luke is miserable. Catherine is furious with Luke that he is still stubborn to realize that she is talking about him. Luke tries to deny all his attraction and feelings for Catherine ever since he has made a mistake of kissing her on her 17th birthday. Back then he discovers that she doesn't want him when she vomited after he kissed her passionately. So when they are thrown together in a hotel room, Luke has a hard time keeping his actions respectable. Only when Catherine jumps on him that his control snaps and he acts on his feelings. But when the haze of attraction slowly disappears, they are left to sort out the emotional mess it leaves. Only with being honest about their love can they see that they have actually found each other “Mr. and Ms. Right.”
