Plot Summary of Guppies for Tea
"31 year old Amelia's boyfriend is leaving her. Her mother is obcessed with staying clean and is spending more time washing her hands than being with her mother Selma who has been put in a retirement home against her will.

Ever since Amelia has been a little girl, her grandmother Selma has always been the one who has been looking out for her. She feels badly about not being there enough for her grandmother who has always been there for her and she decides that she is going to make Selma's last wish come true; she is going to let her die in her own bed in her own house. But there's just one problem - poor old senile Selma hasn't been told that her house has been sold and Amelia hasn't got the heart to tell her about it.

Amelia starts thinking hard and finally comes up with a plan how to get the new owners out of the house so that she can let her grandmother die in peace and free herself from the guilt of not being there for her enough."
