| Plot Summary of In the Hall of the Dragon King |
"Several years have passed since Quentin saved the king and restored the kingdom to his rule, but an unknown advarsary is quickly approaching. Because of the reports of unrest in the south, the king sends Quentin and Toli to go and make inquiries. On the road, the two young men run into many peasants who are leaving their citys because of some monsterous atrocity. When the two men arrive at an abandoned city, they capture a person spying on them only to discover that the person is the princess from the neighboring continent kingdom.
On the return to the king, Quentin and Toli are captured by the invading army and undergo extreme torture. The two men do escape though as the servant of the Warlord of this army frees the men and escapes with them. Because Quentin suffered some of the greatest amount of the torture, his arm is injured almost to the point of no repair. Once the men arrive back, Durwin has something to tell them. He thinks that Quentin fulfills the prophecy of the hero king and wants for Quentin to go with him in search of the ancient mine in order to forge the Sword of the Almighty.
Quentin agrees, and quickly Durwin, Quentin, and Toli begin their search for the mine based off of the prophecy. Although the men do find the mine, the suspense grows as the castle falls under seige and the kingdom looks as if it is going to fall."
