Plot Summary of Citizen Perot
"Author, Gerald Posner did vast research for this informative biography of one of America's famous eccentric personas', Ross Perot. Perot was born on June 27, 1930 in Texarkana, Texas. At the tender age of just seven, Perot began earning money. He broke horses in, put on the market some saddles, seeds and magazines for his savings.
In his thirties, Ross Perot who was a brilliant strategist, built a multibillion- dollar domain from his idea with computers. The company, EDS (Electronic Data Systems) was founded in Dallas, Texas by using a thousand dollars borrowed from his wife, Margot to launch it.

He developed powerful relationships with political figures around this time. In 1969 the Nixon administration asked Perot to determine appropriate action to improve the handling of U.S. prisoners of war that they were receiving in Southeast Asia. Now that he amassed his fortune, many past presidents and presidential campaigns came to Perot for advice. Perot contended with clandestine wars in business and governmental leaders that he deemed corrupt. This led him to lead into a viable contention for presidency.
In 1992 and 1996 he trembled the government by running on a third party ticket as a presidential candidate. He became most famous with his interviews on Larry King Live advocating why voters should vote for him and to rethink the validity of a two-party system in America. . When a commercial was about to break the interview, Perot demanded, “ Just let me finish what I was saying.”

Perot gave his sons the same business advice he utilized for himself. He advised them never to hire top graduates because they will serve themselves and not the company. Also not to hire anyone with drinking problems or those who practiced law. This mysterious eccentric billionaire was admired as a leader.
