| Plot Summary of Erik the Viking |
"Erik the Viking is a bold, brave Viking warrior who realizes that he cannot sleep in peace until he finds the mythical "land where the sun goes at night," a place of endless fertility where none have to want for anything. He assembles an equally bold crew of tough, mostly loyal fellow Vikings to embark with him on his ship Golden Dragon and find the mythical realm.
In a series of episodic adventures, Erik and his men encounter many dangers, including the Dogfighters, the sea dragon and ferocious storms. Their most persistent antagonist is an evil trickster called the Old Man of the Sea, who three times tries to deceive Erik and his men. They come across many strange realms, especially when they sail off the edge of the world, must get through the vast waterfall and explore realms beneath the lip of the world."
