Plot Summary of My Lord Savage
"Black Otter, a Lenape Indian, has been captured and brought to England in the year 1573. He is brought to the home of an aging scientist and his daughter Rowena. Rowena is 32 years old and has long given up on marriage, instead she keeps house for her father and helps him out in his studies. When Rowena's father dies, her uncle arrives and begins to cause problems. Rowena has begun to develop feelings for Black Otter, and he for her, in spite of his hatred of white people. When her uncle threatens Black Otter's life she decides to risk everything to help him escape."
